Course Description: The phlebotomy technician training program refreshes students to collect and process blood samples for laboratory analysis. Students will be refreshed on information about basic anatomy and physiology, the healthcare delivery system, blood collection equipment, venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques, medical, legal and ethical implications of blood collection and more.
Course Length: 6 weeks

Requirements: Students have to be 17 years or older with 1 year Health Care Experience
Access to a laptop or desktop (PC) computer with a camera is preferred, but not required. A smartphone is acceptable.
Students are required to attend class by video. Please note camera must be functional and on during class.
Students need to have stable internet connection.
Students must know basic English and Math.
